The Imola Circuit... What we might see next year

After a two-week break, the F1 season was set to continue with a triple-header of back-to-back races. Drivers would have raced the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in the northern Italian city of Imola, but c urrently, the region is seeing devastating weather and as such, the race was officially postponed by Formula 1.  Unlike the temporary circuit we saw in Miami earlier this month, the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari has been a part of F1 since 1980. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because the circuit is named after Ferrari’s late founder Enzo Ferrari. Things are about to heat up in Miami...

There may be a 50% chance of rain this weekend, but these drivers are warmed up to race.  Miami, a city known for its pristine weather, world-class beaches and trendy nightlife, is the center of F1 this weekend as the best racers in the world head to the 305 for the 5th round of the 2023 season.  While it feels like Red Bull has dominated the early part of the season, each team is prepped and ready for the Miami Grand Prix… and anything can still happen.  This will be the second time in F1 history that this race will take place in Miami, so veterans and young drivers are still familiarizing themselves with the circuit.  Current points leader Max Verstappen is hoping that his early success this season continues as he looks to defend his winning title from the Miami GP in 2022. Max Verstappen Beats Vettel's Record

After tying a record of nine races won in a row, 2022 world champion Max Verstappen released a post honoring his incredible achievement and mentioning that the plan, of course, is to keep pushing.  Sebastian Vettel set the record of 9 consecutive wins in 2013 with Red Bull as well.  Verstappen battled with Ferrari's Carlos Sainz for the first 15 laps of the Italian GP and led the race most of the rest of the way. He ended up snagging P1 with his teammate right behind him.  @maxverstappen1 on Instagram With 10 consecutive wins now and his motivation and encouragement ever growing, Verstappen could end up clinching the world title with a decent amount of races to go.  Check back here as the season goes on to see when he might go above and beyond with those championship points.  written by: Randi May
