Miami GP: The Starting Grid

Qualifying was a doozy this weekend, which proves we have a lot to look forward to. With Red Bull's Perez in pole position (yay Checo!) and Verstappen ending up ninth due to a red flag, we can expect to see some movement in the top 10, but who knows how much yet, as the circuit doesn't give much opportunity. 

Special shout out to Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso who will be starting P2... and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz starting P3. 

A great race is ahead of us.

After tying a record of nine races won in a row, 2022 world champion Max Verstappen released a post honoring his incredible achievement and mentioning that the plan, of course, is to keep pushing.  Sebastian Vettel set the record of 9 consecutive wins in 2013 with Red Bull as well.  Verstappen battled with Ferrari's Carlos Sainz for the first 15 laps of the Italian GP and led the race most of the rest of the way. Drivers Reveal Ballin' Custom Helmets for 2023 Miami Grand Prix

The second ever Miami Grand Prix is upon us! And this season's F1 drivers... are steppin' out in style. I can already tell it's gonna be a 'ball'. 😉  Here's some of the designs we've seen so far:  Norris wearing custom beach ball helmet in a pool while holding a beach ball (@LandoNorris) Lando Norris unveiled an on-brand helmet for the weekend with a  video on Twitter  showing the amazing details of the design, making this helmet actually look like a  plastic beach ball!  He knew he'd have to follow h is incredible  custom basketball design for the inaugural Miami GP, and honestly, I think this tops it.  Lando mentioned he had other ideas for the helmet, "like a golf ball," but decided to leave that one to Alex Albon.  Albon revealed his helmet   with a creative video   starring his girlfriend Lily He, who is a professional player on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour.  Albon's golf ball helmet for the ...

The Imola Circuit... What we might see next year

After a two-week break, the F1 season was set to continue with a triple-header of back-to-back races. Drivers would have raced the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in the northern Italian city of Imola, but c urrently, the region is seeing devastating weather and as such, the race was officially postponed by Formula 1.  Unlike the temporary circuit we saw in Miami earlier this month, the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari has been a part of F1 since 1980. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because the circuit is named after Ferrari’s late founder Enzo Ferrari. With a track named after the founder of Ferrari, you’d think that the Ferrari team would have some sort of edge, but Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has left his mark in Italy.
