Drivers Reveal Ballin' Custom Helmets for 2023 Miami Grand Prix

The second ever Miami Grand Prix is upon us! And this season's F1 drivers... are steppin' out in style. I can already tell it's gonna be a 'ball'. 😉 Here's some of the designs we've seen so far:

Lando Norris unveiled an on-brand helmet for the weekend with a video on Twitter showing the amazing details of the design, making this helmet actually look like a
plastic beach ball!

He knew he'd have to follow his incredible custom basketball design for the inaugural Miami GP, and honestly, I think this tops it.

Lando mentioned he had other ideas for the helmet, "like a golf ball," but decided to leave that one to Alex Albon.

Albon revealed his helmet with a creative video starring his girlfriend Lily He, who is a professional player on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour.

Also driving for Williams Racing, Logan Sargeant will be sporting neon palm trees for the Grand Prix.

This weekend will be the Florida-born driver's first time racing so close to home.

My well wishes to him and the Williams team.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, winner of last year's first Miami GP, has a "similar clean design" on a new helmet and says he can't wait to race with it. And there's a team livery to match!

Some folks say this design isn't special enough to have been "so hyped up" and that they prefer past liveries, but the sharp lines lead me to think Verstappen and Perez will race vigorously as well as in style this weekend.

Alpine is also looking hot with Esteban Ocon's helmet in Miami-esque colors and designs.

On the Haas team, Niko Hülkenberg will sport some palms and the nickname "HULK" on his first special helmet of the year. Hülkenberg says he's optimistic about this race.

And to finish us off before the race, Mercedes is lookin' cooooool...

Stay tuned for a race recap on Monday or Tuesday!
